Dahlia Chalati is co-founder of Chalati Notary - Lawyer. She practices in traditional notarial law with a specialization in estate law and property law.
She councils clients through the will preparation process, as well as accompanies families through estate liquidation and settlements, both nationally and internationally. She is appointed as Liquidator and Trustee in various intricate estates.
Moreover, she regularly acts as instrumenting notary in commercial real estate transactions, commercial financing. She also intervenes in complex property matters pertaining to emphyteutic rights and servitudes.
Dahlia Chalati is an elected administrator on the board of the Chamber of Notaries of Quebec. She is implicated in the modernization of the notarial professional through her roles in various committees at the Chamber of Notaries, notably for the institution of electronic notarial deeds. She is a member of the governing committee of the Chaire de recherche sur les contrats intelligents, la chaîne de blocs et autres technologies émergentes entourant la pratique du droit (Chaire 2.0) – Chambre des notaires du Québec at Université Laval. She also contributes to various publications in notarial law and was awarded the prestigious André Ducret Award for best scientific contribution at the International Notary Union Congress.
